Story: The tomte is a mythical creature from Scandinavian folklore, like a little goblin. They are beleived to take care of the farmer and his family and to keep bad things away.
It's very important to respect tomten and especially in the winter season. In Christmas eve one should give the tomte a large bowl of tomtegröt, it's like warm, sweet rice porridge or rice pudding with sugar, cinnamon and milk. Failure to do this will result in an angry tomte that will destroy things and do all sorts of mischief. When I was a child and we lived in the countryside we always gave our tomte his tomtegröt!

It's really great! Is it all hand done? ....no digital work? Not that it matters! Love the folklore that you spoke of, too! There is a singer from Norway that might enjoy your story and work. She is very famous in her country. Has been knighted! You might know her? Her name is Sissel. She has a Facebook page to help get her name recognized here in the states.
